Similar to Calcium, Alkalinity (Kh) gets consumed daily by corals. If we do not replace this consumption our levels will drop and cause damage to our corals. We should maintain Kh at 8-10. Test often with a quality test kit. In our opinion this is the most important number to test and manage appropriately. Its also important to maintain Kh as stable (without big fluctuation) as possible.
Quick guide; If we want to increase Kh 10 dkh ie. from 8.00 to 8.10 in a 100 gallons of aquarium water use 20 ml or .7 fl oz of liquid added slowly. Test as needed.
Shipping note: Gallon containers may be shipped concentrated and need to be topped off with RO water, do not use without filling gallon container with RO Water.
